    More regarding on SMELLS….

    This is the “smell” of rain…. The process of how the rain affects how we perceive other odours.

    A form of terpene, with a molecular formula C₁₀H₁₆. M. And are otherwise known as monoterpenoids is the scientifically term, it’s when they have oxygen functionality or are missing a methyl group.

    This method is utilised, heavily, in other industries like pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agricultural, and food industries. A beautiful example of how design reflects how nature works.

  • Nature vs culture

    It’s a difficult one… I know (& you know from past posts) that with dopamine, the thrill is in the chase. This probably goes for all humans. So it’s “objective” & is ”natural”.

    But, more subjectively, I have found that usually, when I know the feeling is reciprocated, it intensifies. So is “subjective”, probably falling under “cultural” influence.

    So will attraction, should you go by what your body tells you, due to dopamine release, or what cultural tells you, when you’re more inclined when you think the feeling is mutual.

  • 5/3/2021 – A life in colour

    So I know that everyone is addicted to Netflix but this is what I’m watching now;

    “Attenborough’s Life in Colour”

    It’s very beautiful & a good wake up call for humanity. It is on BBC iplayer. It’s a good substitute for Netflix. It does remind us that, as humans, need to save our planet & take better care of biodiversity.

    It really does show how animals document colour which i didn’t even know about. Like ultraviolet light. I wrote some notes during watching it because it seemed like information I wouldn’t want to forget! No
