I listened to the Blindboy Podcast at the gym, a friend recommended it to me recently (thank yo, if you’re reading) & I cannot recommend it more to my readers.
If you like this blog, it’s like a podcast version of it. The presenter is like a male version of Leuty (me (& he swears a lot)).
The episode that I listened to today was about how kids’ shows (mostly those made in the 80s) were glorified advertising for children to get their parents to get them toys, fast food & other things. Children are too young to know that they are being manipulated so it’s easier to manipulate them.
It didn’t mention subliminal messages, which there enough information a whole episode could cover, but I think my future podcasts will maybe be inspired by what I’ve head on TBP (the Blindboy podcast), can’t recommend it more though.
