I’m paraphrasing, but this aligns with my beliefs:
Bertrand Russell – I’m technically agnostic, since I can’t prove the Christian god, or any other thing we call “god” doesn’t exist, I don’t think their existence is an alternative is sufficiently probable to be worth serious consideration
I, myself, am not religious. I am very anti religion but I heard this great analogy about the church:
The church is like a swimming pool. All the noise is at the shallow end.
The closest thing to a relationship is that I’m an agnostic. I don’t want to count too many chickens before they’ve hatch. I really don’t see the difference between a religion & a cult.
Religion is far too political for me, a can of worms I don’t want to open.
