What most people think of when Chernobyl is mentioned, is most likely to be the nuclear disaster that happened in 1986. The Chernobyl power plant is quite near the city of Pripyal, which is kind of close to Ukrainian.

Chernobyl is considered the most catastrophic nuclear disaster in both the monetary price & the amount of deaths & people’s health that were effected.

In terms of how big this disaster was, it was rated the maximum, 7, on the International Nuclear Event Scales.

Having a disaster so big, being nuclear, had a dire effect on how Chernobyl was in terms of how globally sound it was.

But how Chernobyl looks now, is that even though there was a nuclear disaster, natural has shown its dominance. There is more weeds overgrown. As plants seem to help in terms of global warming too, engulfing CO2 & producing oxygen, the lockdown has meant that there’s a decrease of the popularity of cars. So maybe we’re in store for a plant-take over.
