This was discovered accidentally. Petrovich Pavlovwas was looking into salivation in dogs in response to being fed. He inserted a small test tube into the cheek of each dog to measure saliva when the dogs were fed.
This is quite a famous experiment, I did a bit of research, and saying Pavlov’s dogs is a known phrase. I knew it was a thing butI read up on it, & it is very fitting to some of the methods I have implied to how to make me remember things.
As Pavlov predicted, the dogs made the association of food coming when they saw the assistant who usually served the food. These dogs started to salivate when they saw the assistant coming, making the association that food was coming.
I guess, with a Pavlovian response would be how I had a day for one of my friends. If it was a Monday, I would call & chat to a certain person. I created this probably subconsciously, before I knew anything about Pavlov’s Dogs.
