Of course there is huge market now, with valentines day around the corner. Being younger, there’s more appreciation in gifts which have a monetary value. But as we grow, it’s the gifts that have the emotional value that make a bigger impression.
Even a free like picking a flower or drawing a picture, maybe. These shows you have spent time deciding on what best to give them, that energy of doing so, & the effort they have gone to to get something perfectly sound to your preference.
There is also the physical presence which the gift giving moment has passed, leaves a brilliant memento of that moment.
About gift which isn’t usually considered a gift is a gift of presence. Quality time is like the TEE of making your gift.
Don’t forget living gifts. As much emotional value which maintains vicariously.
Use your imagination like planting a plant or a tree. That’ll show you’re in long term.
