  • 1. I died 1ce

So even though no one has shown an interest in my “numbers” post, I’m still going to expand, because it’s a good story & good information. Most of these stories are 2nd hand but all actually happened.

The 1st one goes like this…. I was 7 years old & was on holiday, feeling ill, getting worse & worse though. I got so unwell I decided & eventually went into a ketoacidotic coma

1 of the 3 comas… the ketoacidots remind for too long, my blood PH went so low I technically died. But was somehow revived, luckily (I don’t know how). A bit like Jesus…(sorry to all Christians).

(This is when your blood sugar goes so high, your body produces keystones, which are a toxic acid – so my blood was effectively an acid. This is why it’s called ketoacicis)

  • 12/4 – Beetroot

Continuing the “Leuty’s facts about fruit & vegetables” posts. The book I’m reading now has a main symbol through it, being the beet. It opens with saying “the beet is the most intense of vegetables”

It has a continuous symbol of the beet. I may have already mentioned this book, its called “Jitterbug Perfume”.

The book says, “You can’t squeeze blood out a turnip”

I have to say I wasn’t so passionate about beets before I read this.

The beet, it’s self, has plenty of vitamins. Such as they are a great source of fiber, folate(vitamin B9), manganese, potassium, iron, and vitamin C.

One of the things I really like now is a beetroot & pineapple salad. It’s truly delicious. It has that mixture of sweet & savoury which is very popular right now, growing in popularity with salted caramel.
