  • CV structure

To rewrite my updated CV, reflecting life after partially dying, followed by a nine-month coma, extended rehabilitation (as shared in this blog), and the completion of my MSc (with a dissertation focused on SWTs [smart wearable technology] my revised structure showcasing my full experience is outlined below.

    Part 1. Experience → What’s Shaped You

    – At Victoria Beckham, what part of the work felt most rewarding or natural?

    – At Li & Fung, which aspects gave you energy, and which were hardest for you?

    – During your MSc, what kind of work did you find yourself strongest in — research, analysis, planning, presenting?

    – How has your recovery shaped the way you approach work, creativity, or problem-solving?

→ Output: Clear sense of your  strongest experiences and transferable skills.

Part 2. Strengths & Style → How You Work Best

    – When you’re at your best, are you more of a creator, strategist, or improver?

    – Do you prefer to work in depth on one project/brand, or move across different projects and clients?

    – What kind of pace and intensity feels sustainable for you?

    – What do others usually notice and value in the way you work?

→ Output: A picture of your natural role and ideal working conditions.

Part 3. Teams & Collaboration → What Environment You Need

    – In a team, which role comes most naturally to you: idea generator, organiser/bridge-builder, or refiner/finisher?

    – Do you work better in structured, clearly led teams or in collaborative, flexible ones?

    – What kind of colleagues and managers bring out your best?

    – How important is independence versus being part of a close team?

→ Output: Insight into what team setups and cultures will help you succeed.

Part 4. Future Direction → Where You Want to Go

    – if you could launch one fashion-tech or wearable product, what would it be — and why?

    – Which type of organisation excites you more: a large luxury group, a focused brand, a consultancy, or a startup?

    – What impact matters most to you: setting new standards in luxury, driving sustainability/inclusivity, or inventing new products?

    – Five years from now, what would you want to be able to say about your work?

→ Output: A shortlist of directions (e.g.fashion brand, tech company, brand innovation team, wearable tech startup, consultancy role etc).

  • Seizure

A common result of a traumatic brain injury is one form of epilepsy. In half of those with epilepsy post TBI, a seizure will present itself within a year after their TBI.

Continuing enjoying the results of the TBI, it seems I’ve acquired epilepsy; discovered in me having a tonic-clonic seizure, previously known as a “grand mal”. This hat most people think of as a typical epileptic fit. The stages are

    1. tonic stage – you lose consciousness, your body goes stiff, and you may fall to the floor
    2. clonic stage – your limbs jerk about, you may lose control of your bladder or bowel, you may bite your tongue or the inside of your cheek, and you might have difficulty breathing

There are several forms of epilepsy, each with different symptoms. In my case, in lost a tooth, bit my tongue in HALF (causing me not to eat without being excruciating), was covered in bruises and grazes. But mine is described above & resulted in:

Tongue in half, lost tooth, front incisor browned by prescription mouth wash.
Tooth back! Front tooth white again
    Tongue still freaky. ….TIRED

A little happier…. Riding the results. Surprised how resting repairs nicely.

  • Motivational speach

This picture can embellish “passion for fashion”.

After going to the gym most days, ever overstepping the limits, not only did I learn to walk using @neurophysio work out route, I presented a lecture at @SHIF in my high heels (seen below).

  • Writing Down

With this brain injury, I have learned to appreciate the documenting of everything. Actually taking the time to write things down gives you time to process what is happening & consider it more.

It’s less the end product that you admire (which I used to be so focused on) but the process of writing it down & meditating it. Let it take the time to linger in your thoughts.

Because I’ve taken the time to think things through, I have taken longer to do things. But looking back at, the longer time I took in doing these things,

It’s a proverb (I think, if it’s no, it should be), but it’s so true. It’s not the destination that is important. It’s the journey.

  • Falling In Love Again

One good thing about this brain injury is I get to discover things the original Leuty knows she loved.

Things that I know I love, I get to revisit again, just a little different.

Like books, films, music, food, drink, sports, the list goes on & on.

One thing I’m experiencing things right now, I get to feel like I’m seeing it for the first time, is being able to discover my town as a tourist.

It’s very fortunate that I have a lot of foreign careers, so I get to experience this city as a tourist, & with them as a friend.

I really enjoy being able to revisit a lot of culture the original Leuty seems to like. It’s very fortunate that I kept a lot of CDs, DVDs & books, which has meant I can revisit them, & probably fall in love with them again, just in a different way.
