I was watching 13 going on 30 & felt so much empathy with the protagonist. 13 going on 30 is on Netflix, so if you do watch it I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
A brief synopsis of the film is the protagonist is turning 13, not having a very good time being 12. She throws a birthday party where she receives some magic dust. There’s a magazine in her room, saying how good “30, flirty & fabulous” is. She ends up playing a game where she goes in up in a closet, & the magic dust falls on her, & she magically turns 30. The rest of the film tells a story about how her life pans out as a 30 year old.
It has a happy ending so I hope that I get my happy ending too.
I relate to this because I, like the main character, find it very difficult to remember my past life. She magically turns 30, but she can’t remember the time in between.
