  • Fatigue

    I’m closer to the final part of my MSc… my thesis! I love it.

    Its theme on SWT (smart wearable technology)… and very abundant of acronyms.

    What pleases me is is that the title features the word “catalyse”… in place for innovation. Cause that’s what I want to be;

    A catalyst

    Sadly, I’m so fucking tired due to results of the TBI; will just have to percevere and work intermittently.

  • Reminders App

    For those in the brain injured crew, the “reminders” app is an invaluable external memory device. On most smartphones, it’s present. The ubiquity makes me feel less like a freak (seeing as everyone has memory problems [some more extreme than others]).

    So, to record plans, I use the “reminders” app on my iPhone. Whenever a new plans is made, I organise and note down everything. Ie date, location, activity, company, any other relevant details.

    Everyday, especially for plants ages away, it helps me plan. Not just this, it allows me to prioritise plants. Allowing me to know what deserves my full attention, and full enjoyment.

  • Gastronomic bitch

    Today I tried @hauteDolci for some furl. I was in @StJamesQuater in my home town, Edinburgh, and needed something to eat (being a diabetic, needs must).

    Staff; fantastic. Beautiful setting with lovely views.

    But don’t let the word “haute” mislead you. A somewhat attractive menu: I chose truffle salad to fit the theme. I tasted no truffle. I could do better at home. Poorly seasoned as well.

    Nice presentation, and as said, brilliant setting. You can really tell where their investment went. Not the chef chill/menu design. A boring gastronomical disaster.

    Appealing deserts, I avoided deserts though, too much sugar.

    Overwhelming feeling: could do better.

    All the style, no substance.

  • Casual chic

    How I cheer myself up, I do it in style;

    #JimmyChoo shoes and dressing gown

    I’m a strong believer in fashion psychology; if you look good, you feel good…

  • #JimmyChoo

    After doing research on #JimmyChoo ‘’s #SWT (smart wearable technology) releases, this had no influence on what I just did….

    The original #shoelover is back

    With brand new #JimmyChop flat shoes, which I can actually walk in (after RELEARNING HOW TO WALK) after TBI left me utterly physically impaired, buying into Tthis brand has made me feel me “me”. More confident.

  • Le Labo

    For those who don’t already know this brand, “Le Labo” is a perfumerie, which seems to be at the epitome of its trade.

    https://www.lelabofragrances.com/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=2053208626&gbraid=0AAAAADRLGSS35K8Cty8NI8dDIFXNrHLU9

    Owned by #estéelauder, the owner has built up #lelabo, to become rather global…. But few know about it. Do you?

    No real marketing or PR, their brand theme is vivid, simplistic but not in a modern, “fine art” way.

    With lab-based branding combining perfume with science, it really does turn art into science.

  • MAYA

    The acronym MAYA = “Most Advanced Yet Acceptable”. A theory initiated by Loewy, to philosophise the principles of design.

    For the biggest impact and the most successful designs; the thing designed (products, concepts xyz…) should should innovate, but seems familiar….

    Like a familiar surprise.

    Pushing the boundaries of design, but ensuring the product remains accessible and understandable.

  • Similarly

    https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2025/mar/28/my-brain-after-the-rupture-review-clemency-burton-hill-documentary?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other

    Appears when you come so close to not existing, the motivation to be extraordinary strong.

    Seems other of my brain damaged peers seem to have this trait; but everyone wants to be an outsider.

    This want turns into main priority after your brain is broken. Everything is pushed into a less important spot.

    Not so easy to see…

    But here, people glorify those who have “got to the top”. They don’t realise when you go lower than bottom, making your way back to “normal”, is of equal distance. And takes as much energy.

  • The art of AI

    Like many new investors, few actually know how it really works. For AI, all I know is the acronym is “artificial intelligence”.

    There is a HUGE TREND amongst pretty much everyone I know (maybe everyone you know, too).

    The only get the impression (condensed, too detailed for here) is you give it a prompt, and it will give a perfect reaction based on previous linkages from the internet.

    This could be totally wrong, but basing on that judgement;

    We like what we’re good at. We LOVE for the imperfections.

    Like the odd incorrect note in a song, or the imperfections in the sound of their vices. Even the obviously wrong brushstroke in a painting. You can tell it’s done by a being with fallibilities, with emotions, with a conscious.

  • Future Focus

    Wearable technology has become increasingly popular, with its commercial viability significantly boosted by the introduction of the Apple Watch. This innovation allowed a tech company, Apple, that was already renowned for its aesthetic focus in various other, more tech-focussed products, to diversify its product range, creating opportunities for clusters and various expansion avenues. The Apple Watch significantly contributes to job creation from a CSR perspective.
