The word “gymnasium” comes from “γυμναστήριο” or “gymnastírio” which literally translated to “school for naked exercise” because back then, those who were considered athletes did so in the nude. Fashion has taken a strange turn, closing has always been a status symbol. Now the most affluent are showing that they’re so wealthy, they don’t have to spend time, or money, on working out what to wear.
