Linearisation

I was very excited because i found out someone I know (let’s call him Rod) was a professional librarian, & one of my friends (let’s call them Isla) is doing a PHD in how the visitors’ books at Innerpeffray Library, & how it heritage centre & it’s now a tourist attraction.

So I wanted Rod to meet Isla, I linked the 2 as they both seem to love books

This is an incredibly long introduction to an unrelated story, but in text conversation I predictive typed “Linearisation” when trying to type “librarian” & that caught my interest. I found this very amusing.

So here’s what I found out about linearisation. ;

linearization is the finding of the linear approximation of a function. I have done some research into it but found parts confusing & I won’t expect you to make sense of it. It goes into saying things about Taylor expansion around the point of interest
