For those who don’t know who he, he’s the producer (amongst bassist, composer, guitarist etc) for Chic, co founding it too. He has also done work on a lot of more recent work, starting with “get lucky” & “I’ll be there”. It could probably be perceived that he has a Medas touch when it comes to music.
After the chic stint, more recently, he founded the Hipgnosis fund. This company invests in back catalogs of articles, managing their work, the artist sells their music catalog; ie all their work, or basically the rights
With the popularity of how the music industry is evolving, how it’s becoming more tailored, or where the money is made, used in filma or adverts, this is a wise evolution for this media.
