I recently got a #novopen6 as I’m on fixed doses. I’m still learning how to use it though, but feel I’m getting there. The novelty is strange & scary though.
When trying to dial it up to 3 units (the dose I’m on) of novorapid, it somehow went up to 60. I only realised mid-injection, as it was taking so long to go down.
I took it out when there was about 10 left, meaning I took 40 units. This meant I was probably going to die. Either that or be drip-fed for a long time. I was so scared cause there was nothing I could do.
Fortunately, it was just a dream. On waking, it must have made a big impression on me as my BGL was 17.6.
