Online dating

I’m a total romantic, so hate the idea of how impersonal it is. However it is so improbable finding that special person, with a world population of about 7 billion. From my own thoughts, the line between “stalker” & “romantic” is very thin. For most givers they worry that it’s too specific, that they have put too much effort. But a receiver probably is flattered. I’m just speaking from personal preference, it may not be everyone.

Although romantic, meeting, then dating someone in person is the older generation though. Stats say that those under 30 (I’m 30…) have used or are using online dating or an app to meet their special one. This includes about 40% of 30-50s. Seems like the way in which we date, amounts a lot of things, is becoming digital.

I’m just an observer, so can’t speak from experience. But I know what I want. What makes you stand out? Be so special? Try romance. Make the effort.

My main incentive is to find a man who can hold my hand while we walk. That is bloody romantic.
