Watching “inside Bills Brain” right now. What he did is revolutionary.

Sight
Because I’m legally blind in 1 eye (I really hate it) I am trying to find out as many tips as I can, so I did some YouTubeing. There’s a really helpful video (below it on not) with someone who was born legally blind. I hope you check him out;
His name is Tommy Edison
Search for him & see if you can put up with what I have to.

Anti-valentines day
This year has been truly an awful year. For 1 there’s been a pandemic, & where is more personal is that I have no boyfriend (particularly pertinent around Valentine’s Day) So I’m going to use this time as a time to let those who I really care about know that they are important to me.Kind of like an anti-valentines day. A day to celebrate others & show how much they are appreciated (like my parents). I am like most people in the case that I love/hate my parents. I do love them cause they are my parents but they can really annoy me & know exactly how to get under my skin. So this vacation day I hope you follow my lead & remind your parents that you love them. Make the effort. I don’t know you but I do know they’ll appreciate it.

Facts
I learned a few things that surprised me; 99 years ago on the 11th January 1922 the first dose of insulin was administered! & 48% of adult have some form of diabetes, undiagnosed!
I had no idea diabetes was so common! @ least I’m not alone (at all!)

11/01 – Hopeful
I had a great call yesterday with 2 people I know, who I would consider them as friends. One I know cause he is my innovation boss & one who I’ve have known for a long time. We went on holiday together & he’s now in the fashion business. It seems like the those 2 are a match made in heaven, just need to work out where I fit in. I am happy that I have brought the 2 together.
One has a brand which has a great USP (unique selling points). He discussed all the details about his brand & it sounds very attractive; I’ll try & promote it to you now; if you imagine tactical wear vs expert tailoring. Kind of a glorified version of what Kent & Curwin tried to be, just a more luxury version of that. I’m just happy to put the 2 together.

11/01 – Friends
I’ve watched flight of the conchords & one question that has got me thinking is how does one make a friend?
What are the things that one does with someone & it classifies them as their friend?
What do you & your friends talk about?
I’ve asked some people & they’ve said a few things; similar interests, sense of humour, trust is an important one.

Anger
So today his been good & bad; got to keep positive!
I’m really angry now cause my dad has cancelled on me. He was going to visit me but he said he was too tired to see me, at least I can vent my rage @ my blog & people actually read what I’m saying.
A good thing, REALLY good things is I made a little progress with my career so I appreciate that tremendously. I guess it’s good for me to focus on the good! I’m already brain damaged so it’s helpful to focus on the good. I have such few goods in my life it’s helpful.
Another good things is that I’ve had some good coffee to console myself.
Be positive is another new year’s resolution. Well this gives me an opportunity to look at the bright side of life.
Well I hope that all my readers look on the bright side.

Comedy
I want to bring entertainment to you so I’ll tell you what I did today & hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
One of the things I did today was watch Flight of the Conchords E3 S1. It kind relates to the situation that Britain is in now.
They’re looking for a new job in this episode, which I’m watching .
Even though I have the dvd, I don’t think it captures you in the same way.
They don’t have it on Netflix. They have some clips on YouTube but it isn’t the same as the dvd. I will just try to write this episode digitally. I guess that is what we all have to do now, bring all communication & entertainment digital. Make everything we do digital.

28/01 – Reading
I guess there is no better time to have a brain injury than now. I’ve got the time to focus on myself, & learn everything again. Not many people get to start afresh, it’s like a blank slate. If there was anything I didn’t like about the old me I get to relearn, but differently.
Now I’m in a wheelchair & got a Zimmer but I’m learning how to walk again (doing pretty well) & I have a physio so I focus on getting stronger.
I focus on reading (which is a good way to waste time during the lockdown). I’m reading 3 books now which I would certainly recommend. Part of my brain injury is that i have to relearn reading. I have never been a quitter so I do more reading than before.
Just talked about reading, I’m blind in one eye. So I probably read more now because I like to work areas I find challenging.
I actually know some of the authors so that may be an ulterior motive but I’m really enjoying the books. Maybe I should start a reading club! Well I’ll first let you in on what I’m reading now:
“The Brain that Changes Itself” by Northern Doidge
“The Buying Brain” by A K Pradeep
“Who Am I?” By Polly Williamson
I want to say what I have read of all books have been thoroughly enjoyable.
